We strive to deliver operational excellence in all areas of our activities. provide quality, reliable and innovative services that will meet our customers’ needs, requirements and expectations in a cost-effective way, remaining forever committed to excellence; provide highest quality service in all aspects of ship management; operate the ships with highest ethical standards and ensure commercial decisions never override safety considerations; maintain a Safety and Quality Management System (S&QMS) in the Office and its managed vessels based on the ISM Code, ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004; establish measurable Quality Objectives at relevant functions and levels, the Objectives being reviewed at least annually; provide and improve safe working practices and a safe and secure working environment in ship operation; protect the environment by adopting and implementing effective pollution prevention measures reflected in the prevention of operational spills, maximize energy efficiency, reduction of emissions, waste management maximizing recycling opportunities and use of environment friendly products throughout all activities of company’s managed ships and shore offices. restrict and control the possession, use, distribution and sale of drugs and alcohol onboard, monitor and promptly action the drugs and alcohol abuse ashore; continually identify and assess all risks, provide and improve safeguards against all identified risks; continually improve management and operation skills of seafarers and shore-based personnel, including emergency preparedness related to safety and protection of the environment; continually improve, amend , review and update the S&QMS to ensure compliance with mandatory rules and regulations, and those applicable codes, guidelines and standards recommended by relevant international organisations, the governments of the states whose flags the Company ships are entitled to fly, classification societies and maritime industries. We believe that any accident can be prevented and/or controlled through the Safety & Quality Management System in combination with active involvement from everyone in the Company, both onshore and onboard. It is the direct responsibility of all Ibhana Managers and crew members alike. All management functions, including onshore management, Masters and Officers will comply with the Ibhana Safety & Quality Management System requirements as they apply to the operation and maintenance of ships and equipment.
